*Disclaimer: This series is still being written and small changes may be made to the Overview*
What if I want to start this later in the year?
You can begin this at any point in the year, but beginning in June does make the weeks line up nicely with the church year. If you begin in September, for example, and want to study Jesus' birth at Christmas, there are a few ways you could do this.
You can begin this at any point in the year, but beginning in June does make the weeks line up nicely with the church year. If you begin in September, for example, and want to study Jesus' birth at Christmas, there are a few ways you could do this.
- Marathon-style: Do one big week of watching all the videos to catch up on the story. Do your project in parts instead of stories so that you can catch up.
- Learn in parts instead of smaller stories: Do one part per week, which will gradually catch you up. You could watch the video summaries of all the stories in Part 1, for example, the choose one story that you want to dig into for your conversation and project.
- Learn the big song and jump right in! To create the songs, Jonathan boiled the stories down to their essence, so singing the song can catch you up sufficiently to continue the year. If you want to do more in-depth work with each story later, you can always do that as the year comes around again. But the songs will help you learn the chronological story.
